I got in a small bike accident on the BU Bridge on the way to work today.
I looked up and another guy on a bike coming the other direction on the sidewalk cut in front of me to his left to get onto the street. By the time he yelled, “Hey!!” I had already plowed into his back tire. My front wheel went right hard but my handlebars stayed put. This wrenched my shoulder and threw me off my bike. I twisted my handlebars back into place, put my chain back on, and stretched my shoulder a bit before continuing on. There was no sign of the other guy.
This was my first accident in a little over 3 years of biking to work.
